Recently, under the guidance of the leadership from Zhuhai City and High-tech Zone’s intellectual property authorities, CYG ELECTRIC CO., LTD.(CYG Electric), a subsidiary of Changyuan Technology Group Ltd.(CYG), successfully received the ISO 56005 Level 2 certification in the field of smart grid equipment, becoming one of the first companies in Zhuhai to achieve this recognition.

ISO 56005, titled "Innovation Management - Tools and Methods for Intellectual Property Management - Guidelines," is the first international standard for intellectual property management led by China. Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), this standard provides enterprises with a comprehensive and efficient model for managing innovation and intellectual property, contributing to the enhancement of innovation capacity and quality.

During the ceremony, leaders from CYG’s intellectual property department, along with CYG Electric’s General Manager Yan Xifeng and Deputy Manager of the Comprehensive Management Center Zhang Yongyao, expressed their commitment to accelerating the integration of innovation management and intellectual property management, while actively promoting CYG’s role as an industry benchmark.

Intellectual property experts involved in the evaluation, including Wen Jingman, Jiang Yunhua, Guo Aiqing, Yan Xiwen, Lu Weiqiang, and Li Wanman, Executive Secretary General of the Zhuhai Intellectual Property Protection Association, all agreed to leverage their expertise to enhance CYG Electric’s full-chain management capabilities in technological innovation, intellectual property creation, application, protection, and services. This will contribute to the wider promotion of the ISO 56005 international standard within the High-tech Zone.
